That should run it fine. With respects to the first answer about SLI. Running two video cards is the biggest joke I have ever seen. So don’t even worry about. Plus I see you are not the type of person to waste money.
I have almost the same system, except for a 4870 graphics card. I can play all my games, Crysis, Crysis warhead, Stalker CS, COD4, on high settings. You will need x64bit operating system to see all 4gigs of ram, and actually for the price, 1066mhz will serve you much better, with only a slight price increase from the 800mhz. It will give you better options for overclocking on the ASUS board. I have an ASUS P5Q-SE motherboard which is about hte same.
Keep in mind that with that motherboard, you are not going to be able to SLI in the future. You have to get an Nvidia northbridge chipset instead of the P45. The P45 works with crossfiring 2 ATI cards only… It will run your 9800 by itself no problems though. It is all about keeping your options open, is what I am saying…
dont make the same mistake i did by buying the arctic power psu
i dont mind it but according to many people it is very rubbish.
